InfoWorld Article on OpenBD and open source
Recently, J. Peter Bruzzese, over at InfoWorld contacted us asking all about OpenBD and CFML in general. Both Adam Haskell and Alan Williamson were interviewed for the piece, with much discussion being had over the nature of open source vs. commercial offerings.
The author has much of his experience in the world of Windows, and this was one of the first ventures into the open source world. He not only installed and configured OpenBD for the first time, he also installed his first ever MySQL instance and got it all tied into OpenBD.
He will be writing in a later piece on the precise details of these steps.
